Bronze and Silver award winner Susan Shiba incorporated Roseate Dressage in 1999.
The name Roseate Dressage evolved from a long search for a name meaningful to Susan.
In her search she looked at words that would honor her first FEI horse, Mornin' Promise.
While in the dictionary looking up words she thumbed through to "rose" which is her
favorite flower. Down the page she came upon "roseate". The definition is "bright
and promising" and the company name was found.
